Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services. A Physician Assistant (PA) has the ability to conduct medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x rays, make diagnoses, and prescribe medications. A PA is also able to treat minor injuries, by suturing, splinting, and casting. |
